FAQ: frequently asked questions at Camping Spinnaker

HOURS
What are the times for check-in and check-out?
Check-in is possible from 8 am to 8 pm on the day of arrival. Delivery of the accommodation unit is guaranteed from 4 pm.
Check-out time is by 9 am on the day of departure, when the keys must be returned to the management.

What is the time of breakfast?
Breakfast is available from 7 am to 10 am.

What are the opening hours of the restaurant?
It is possible to have lunch from noon to 2 pm and dinner from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Does the pool have fixed hours?
The pool is open from 9 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 7 pm, weather permitting.

What time does the campsite open and close? Is it open 24 hours?
The village will be closed from midnight to 8 am, but will always be accessible to our guests.

What time does the beach open and close?
The beach is accessible from 8 am to 8 pm, subject to weather conditions.

What time does the wellness centre open and close?
The wellness centre is open from 9 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 7 pm.

What are the opening hours of the offices?
The offices are open from 8 am to 9 pm.

What time does the market open and close?
The market is open from 8 am to 1 pm and from 4.30 pm to 8 pm
SERVICES
Where can I park my car?
We offer three large car parks:
- an internal car park around the perimeter where cars can only be moved outside the quiet hours (i.e. from 8 am to 1.30 pm and from 4 pm to 12 pm)
- two fenced outdoor car parks;

Is it possible to connect to the internet?
We have a free Wi-Fi service that is easily accessible from every point in the village; as of July 2020, we also offer a hyper-fibre broadband connection.

What amenities do you provide in your accommodation?
Each accommodation is equipped with: air conditioning, television, refrigerator with freezer, gas cooker, pots and pans (including moka), crockery and cleaning equipment (broom, mop, Clothesline, bin); not included are rags, tablecloths, hairdryer, waste bags, blankets and covers, oven;

Are lunch and dinner buffet style?
Except for special events, lunch and dinner are served at the table.

Is lunch included on the day of arrival?
Full board and half board services include breakfast and meals from the day of arrival. If arrival times do not permit this, breakfast and meals can be scheduled with the restaurant for the day of departure.

Can children use the pool? 
The little ones can have fun in our new swimming pool with slide and water games.

Is it compulsory to wear a swimming cap in the pool?
Yes, it is also possible to buy it on site.

What if my child gets sick?
If your child falls ill, our trusted paediatrician is at your disposal (on request and for a fee).

Is there air conditioning in the room?
Air conditioning is present in all our accommodations and is always included in the price.

Are there beaches that have an agreement with the campsite? Is the beach included in the price?
We face directly onto our sandy, well-equipped beach.

Is the beach equipped?
We face directly onto our sandy, well-equipped beach. You will find bars, restrooms, showers and other services.

Is it possible to book half board or full board at the restaurant?
Of course. You can book in advance or request your preferred treatment directly on site. Our in-house restaurant "Profumo di Mare" serves the best local and non-local seafood specialities, as well as meat and pizza.

Is it possible to stay beyond the check-out time?
Yes, it is possible, provided you vacate your accommodation by 9 am and do not use the temporary car park for new arrivals.

Do you offer a transfer service?
The management can suggest taxi services (for a fee)

Is there entertainment for children?
Our animation team runs a Mini Club and a Junior Club for which they provide dedicated activities in various areas of the village (playground, beach, sports centre, theatre, etc).

Are you hosting parties or other internal events on the campsite?
Our extensive animation team prepares a full programme of activities covering all times of the day; during the low season, the programme may be restricted.

Is it possible to rent bicycles?
We offer more than 10 bicycles for adults and children available for hire at an additional cost.
PET FRIENDLY
Are pets permitted?
Of course, we offer different types of accommodation where you can bring your pet.

Which services are available for dogs?
We have a dedicated "Dog Beach" and a "dog play area" of about 1 hectare where you can find a pool for bathing, recreational equipment and, during July and August, a dog trainer.

Can I take my dog to the beach or the pool?
Dogs are allowed on the dog beach and have access to all areas of the village except the pool, playground, sanitary facilities and wellness centre.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT METHODS
What is your IBAN?
Our IBAN is IT 62 H 06150 69663 CC0570071712 made out to SO.GE.CAMP.SRL and registered with the bank Carifermo.

Is tourist tax included in the price?
The price does not include the tourist tax, which amounts to € 0.20 per person per day, from the age of 3 years and upwards, unless amended by the relevant authorities.

What is always included in the price?
The always included services are: Wi-Fi, parking space, animation, air conditioning, mini club, initial cleaning, final cleaning, water, consumption of electricity and gas.

May I pay with a credit or debit card?
Of course, you can pay by credit card and debit card. We do not accept American Express.

Is it possible to take out insurance?
Allianz offers our customers the chance to take out the "Booking Protection" holiday insurance at favourable rates, which must be activated upon receipt of our confirmation letter and immediately after paying the deposit. You can request a quote and/or apply by clicking here.
Alternatively, Allianz also offers the option, at standard rates, of taking out holiday insurance within 30 days of arrival. You can request a quote and/or apply by clicking here.

How much is the deposit?
A deposit of 35% of the total amount of your stay is due within 7 days of booking.

What do I have to do before my arrival?
In order to streamline the acceptance procedure, the following is requested:
  • check-in on line before your arrival by clicking on the link you will find in our confirmation emails;
  • provide the car's license plate number by replying to our confirmation emails;
  • print, complete and sign the documents attached to our confirmation e-mails, which must then be sent in advance by e-mail or presented at the time of check-in;
  • agree on the time of arrival at least two days in advance, also by telephone;
  • pay the balance before arrival (recommended);
When do I have to pay for my stay?                                                                    
In order to avoid delays we recommend payment prior to arrival by bank transfer, otherwise you can pay the balance by the time of arrival using cash, credit card or debit card.
WELLNESS AND FITNESS CENTRE
Is the wellness centre included in the campsite rate?
Treatments in the wellness centre are available for a fee

What does the wellness centre offer?
The wellness centre includes a whirlpool bath with an adjoining relaxation area, a massage room, two sensory showers, a steam bath and a treatment room dedicated to the wellness of individuals and couples.

Is the fitness area included in the price of the campsite? 
The area in front of the wellness centre is equipped with fitness equipment for free use.
VILLAGE
What does the basic equipment of mobile homes include?
The equipment includes Television, air conditioning, crockery, pots and pans (including moka), broom, mop, drying rack, waste bin.

What is excluded from the minimum equipment of mobile homes?
Not included are rags, tablecloths, hairdryers, rubbish bags, toilet paper, blankets and undersheets, oven;

Is final cleaning compulsory?
No, initial and final cleaning is included in the price but the accommodation unit must be left free of all rubbish and personal belongings.

Are the accommodations equipped with air conditioning?
Air conditioning is present in all our accommodations and is always included in the price.

Can hairdryers and hair straighteners be used?
Yes, in accordance with the amperes available for the housing unit
PITCH
Are there differences between the various pitches?
Our pitches have an average size of 7x7 metres and are equipped with electricity, and connections for water and drainage.

What type of connection is needed to connect to the electricity supply? How far is the connection from the pitch?
The distance from the pitch to the electricity column varies from a minimum of a few metres to a maximum of 25 metres. The electrical connection is a circular industrial type.

Is it possible to buy or rent adapters for blue sockets (CEE standard) to connect to the electricity column?
All electrical equipment required for connection to the electricity columns can be purchased from our market.

How many amps do the electricity columns have?
The columns supply 6 amps
Do you pay for the showers?
Use of the showers is free of charge

Can electric cookers be used?
The use of electric cookers is not recommended but is permitted within the ampere capacity available for each pitch.

When booking a pitch is it possible to have more than one choice on arrival?
The choice of pitch is subject to the availability of free pitches and must be agreed with the management at the time of booking; however, the management reserves the right to make changes due to management or organisational requirements.

Is it possible to have a barbecue on the campsite?
Barbecues may only be used with the prior authorisation of the management, in favourable weather conditions and in strict compliance with all the precautions set out in our regulations.

Where can I empty my chemical toilet?
In the toilet blocks there are special areas for emptying chemical toilets.
WHERE WE ARE LOCATED
Where is the campsite located? Is it far from the beach?
Our campsite is located in the south of the Marche region in Marina Palmense, in the municipality of Fermo and adjacent to the town of Porto San Giorgio. It can be easily reached from the A14 Fermo-Porto San Giorgio motorway exit, which is about 1 km away, and from the Fermo-Porto San Giorgio railway station, which is about 3 km away.
The Spinnaker Camping Holiday Centre is located next to the beach to which it has direct access.

Is there a medical service on the campsite?
An infirmary is available, accessible only by authorised personnel. We do not have a medical service, but it is possible to use the municipal medical service.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
What are your cancellation policies?

The cancellation of the reservation is free within 21 days of arrival. Without prejudice to the sending of the 20% deposit upon booking.

Cancellation must always be communicated by registered letter with return receipt.
