Fermo
The city of Fermo contains a wealth of treasures. The narrow, winding streets still feature the typical Roman and medieval paving. And these streets feature Renaissance architecture.
Stop in its beating heart, Piazza del Popolo. Then go down to the Roman Cisterns. A large complex built around 100 AD. Here, rainwater was collected and purified. Leaving the cisterns, you can visit the church of San Domenico with a magnificent wooden choir.
If you want to enjoy the view of the nearby mountains, the sea and the green hills surrounding Fermo, go to Piazzale Girfalco.

The Frasassi Caves
In Genga, in the province of Ancona, just over an hour's drive from our holiday center, are the famous Frasassi caves. A route of about 1500 m takes you into the bowels of the earth where a spectacle of nature awaits you, a result of millennia. Water, drop by drop, has created stalactites that seem to defy the laws of gravity and stalagmites that seem to want to reach the sky.

The thin, long maccheroncini go perfectly with any type of meat sauce. They catch it and then release it in all its goodness in your mouth. However, in Campofilone you can enjoy exquisite food and wine all year round.
