We love our natural surroundings, which is why we strive every day to improve ourselves in order to offer eco-friendly services that respect our local area.
However, love for our destination is not limited to the environment: we actively support local organizations which promote sports, culture, and social initiatives, thus contributing towards the area's development and the community's well-being. Choosing Centro Vacanze Spinnaker means experiencing a special vacation and, at the same time, taking part in a responsible tourism project.

Flora biodiversity

Villaggio Spinnaker is home to a rich variety of plant species, including melia, photinia, escallonia, eucalyptus, tamarisk, roses, maritime pines, red maples, acacias, and many others. Many of these are precious species, making this area's flora particularly interesting from a naturalistic point of view.

WWF natural area

Right next to the Centro Vacanze Spinnaker, along the shared-use cycle/pedestrian path, there's a WWF natural area that protects the environment and animals.
This real oasis of biodiversity is home to over 90 species of birds that share their space with hares, turtles, squirrels, and lots of colorful insects. A real treasure for our environment!

Ete Bridge and cycle/pedestrian path

A new cycle and pedestrian path runs alongside the sea and, via the bridge over the Ete River, leads to Porto San Giorgio's seafront.  
Whether on foot or by bike, available for rent at our holiday resort, guests can enjoy the gift of unspoiled nature, with the sea on one side and a natural oasis on the other.

Sustainable energy

We use solar energy to generate electricity and produce hot water for sanitary use. Electric golf carts with low pollutant emissions are used for transportation within the campsite.

Internally purified drinking water

The plentiful aquifer beneath our holiday resort is made drinkable by a modern reverse osmosis plant.
This technology allows Spinnaker to be self-sufficient in its use of water resources, without relying on the public water supply.

Drinking water dispenser

A brand new filtered drinking water dispenser is available for your use within the campsite. You can refill your water bottles or flasks as often as you like, reducing the need to buy and use plastic.

Environmental-friendly tips

  • Do not waste water
  • Turn off lights in rooms that are not in use
  • Turn off the TV and air conditioning before leaving your accommodation
  • Do not open windows when the air conditioning is running
  • Avoid excessive temperature differences between indoors and outdoors
  • Separate your waste at our recycling center

Social sustainability

Tarassaco social cooperative

We support the Tarassaco Social Cooperative, founded in 2015 with the aim of promoting the Fermano rural area. Tarassaco fosters social agriculture by involving people in economically and socially vulnerable situations, creating job opportunities and inclusion.

Palmense Fermana S.S.D.

We support G.S. Palmense Fermana S.S.D. a r.l., an amateur sports club based in Fermo, mainly active in 11-a-side football and registered with CONI. A club that supports local sport and promotes the talent of young athletes.

Polisportiva Altidona A.S.D.

We're contributors to Polisportiva Altidona A.S.D., an amateur sports association in Marina di Altidona (Fermo) focused on 11-a-side football and youth development, with the aim of promoting sporting life in our destination.

Circolo di Ave

We support Circolo di Ave, an association dedicated to promoting classical music in the Fermano area. It organizes concert seasons for enthusiasts and young people, hosted at Palazzo Brancadoro and, from 2023, also at the Teatro dell'Aquila in Fermo.
